Alan at the Heart of the Sun

Today i've bin doing random illustrations of mythological beings with the help of google image search for reference.
In combining these two things I hope to create an original character. Here's my first shot at it.
I like the eagle/west indies feel it has to it and the monkey proportions of the arms.
Btw alan is apparantley a mythological woman that has the attributes of a sloth.
